Pittsburgh CIS I 171H status HELP!!

I just received a call from my agency. They said if we can get the status of our I 171H (we were fingerprinted on march 25) we might get a referral by early next week.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
which is WAY earlier than I thought.

I sent the Pitt CIS an email and a fax requesting our status (and putting lots of "please"s and "urgent"s on them) but have had absolutely no luck finding a phone #. I called the US CIS and asked about Pitt and went online but no luck. So, I'm waiting by the computer calmly having a heart attack. Does anyone have any hints for calling the Pitt CIS--or possibly know anyone who works there--or have any other ideas?

I'm shaking so hard I can barely type. It didn't seem real before this.

thanks,
pam

Pittsburgh CIS

Hi Pam,

If your agency is sure that your homestudy is at the Pittsburgh office and you don't live terribly far away, I'd pay them a personal visit. I've had to do that for two of our three adoptions and finally had to get Arlen Spector's office involved (not for I171H approval, but other things). If you can't go in person, it might be a good idea to contact Spector's office in Pittsburgh; they were very willing to get in contact with USCIS on our behalf.

FWIW, if you were fingerprinted the 25th, you should be getting your I171H literally any day. We never waited more than 3-3.5 weeks for any of our three adoptions.

Good luck! And if you don't get anywhere, pm me; I think I have something else you can try as well.
