OT Silly Stuff: "The PGN Man" -- A Tribute to Dr. Seuss' Cat in the Hat...
With apologies to Dr. Seuss...I needed to blow off a bit of adopting mom silly energy/frustration today...
 ************************* The PGN Guy... The phone does not ring,
There's no knock at the door So we wait for our babies And we wait, wait some more We check the computer And hope for FedEx But there's no mail today So we're nervous wrecks... "Now! Now! Have no fear. Have no fear!" please don't sigh... "My place is not bad," Said the PGN guy "We take in so many Of your applications And play a fun game we call "Huge Complications!" We keep you as long As time will allow And kick you back out And you never know how We jumble your papers All up in a ball And we pass them around Up and down our big hall We stamp them "DENIED" We sort them in piles We look for misspellings We misplace your files "Let us out!" say the Moms "This is no fun at all "Let us OUT!" say the Moms. "We've been in since last FALL!!" "Now now, you can go.... Go away, say bye bye... But we'll see you again" Said the PGN guy "We're kicking you out Cause you need to do more More papers and signing Just more more more more!" "Let us out!" say the Moms! "If we may be so bold!" "Let us OUT" say the Moms. 'Fore our babies grow OLD!!! * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * * Anyone care to add a verse or two???

I don't have a verse to add know, but wanted to say thanks for the laugh----I really needed it!!!
I'll have to see if I can work on some verses a little later. This is perfect.

I don't know that I have this quite right, but you have inspired me. I've been distracted from the wait for at least a short while.
The PGN man says my file's incomplete, That just can not be Thought I had this thing beat. Checked all my spellings Drove the notary crazy Gave my doctor a headache The whole world's gone hazy! My documents are there Can't you take one more look? They are spotless and perfect. Completed them by the book. What's that you say? You've created a new "rule"? How could you do that You silly ole fool. Don't you know my baby is growing up without me? How can you do this It just shouldn't be. Do you think these delays Will deter my path? That I'll throw the baby out with the bath? You underestimate my love, the commitment I feel. My daughter and son will come home Someday they sure will. So I'll say my prayers for the PGN man That he'll grow a heart; Sign as fast as he can!

Loved the last stanza in particular!! And if Dr. Seuss' Grinch could grow his heart a few sizes bigger, I'll bet that the PGN man can too!! Because otherwise, all us Moms down in Mom-ville will all cry BOO HOO, right? !!!!!
