Smile Internet access at Westin

I am going to visit our baby March 24-31st. I will be staying at the Westin and want to be able to keep in touch with my husband by email. Does anyone know what the internet situation is at the Westin? Do they have access in rooms and you need to bring a lap top? Or do they have computers somewhere in the hotel that have internet access? Do you have to pay extra for this? I am staying on the adoption floor, I think.
Thanks for your help,
Ursula

Couple of ways you can do it. If you bring a laptop, you can request a cable/link thing for your room. They will bring it to your room. It's $10 a day. BUT, they only have a few, and if they don't have one available, you'll have to get on a waiting list to wait for it. We were told it was 2 days wait to get it.

They have a business/computer center, where you can pay for internet access using their computers. I don't know how much it costs.

If you have a laptop that has a network card in it, however, you can take it down to the business/computer center, and they'll give you a cable there and you can connect to their internet, no charge. This is what we did on our trip in February. They were nice. One afternoon I got there right when they were closing. The guy let me get set up in a cubicle, then closed the office, and told me to bring the cable to the front desk and make sure the door to the business center was locked behind me, and let me stay as long as I wanted.

We left our laptop at home and used the business center. It is approx. 2.00 US dollars for 15 mins. The only prob. about using the business center is that it closes at 10pm I believe and is not opened on Sundays.
