oh the paper chase!!

Well my husbands employer thinks im crazy and demanding. I am trying to get his employment letter from his hr office, we gave specefic instructions salary, benefits, leave, life insurance blah blah, well, they called and said they were going to attach copes of his disabilty policy, copies of his pay stub, copies of his health insurance policy. I said we cant do that and then emailed a sample letter. I explained to her that it has to be one page and be very straight and to the point, and also dont forget about notarizing it! well then here comes a call from my husband I am not allowed to call his hr office.. i am being too demanding and difficult they only want to deal with him. HA ! They just dont understand how precise : our documents have to be !!!!! LISa

Yes, but I suspect in our current legal climate, they MUST only deal with your husband, unfortunately!

My husband works for the federal government, my husband provided them with a sample letter and a list of what needed to be included in the letter. The letter my husband came home with had his start date and salary, they attached a copy of his benefits and insurance. My agency accepted it like that with no problems.
