Need Help, Where can I get copy of past tax return?
If anyone knows how I can get a copy of my past tax returns please let me know. Is this available thru the IRS?
The tax preparer who did our 2003 tax return did not give us a complete copy back.  I did not discover this untill sometime AFTER we had sent it in . I will need to have this for our next adoption. Needless to say, we no longer use this lady to do our taxes. I know it was just an oversite on her part, but I have to have a copy of this. Please Help!Thanks BeBe

If you go to the IRS web site and pull up form 4506
all you have to do is fill it out and mail it in I think there is a fee.

I am searching my memory banks here - but I believe the IRS does have to make available a copy for you, something about the freedom of information act
