im still waiting to reenter pgn but i am looking ahead.

will it be on some of the paper work ive already gotten or do we find out where the bc is when it's over?
i noticed on the "waiting for pink" list some posted where their child's bc is coming from.

im just curious what my "out of pgn" wait might be like...i must be having an optimistic day

It comes from wherever your child was born. I can totally relate to trying to remain optimistic, but as I am sure you know, it sure is hard sometime!

Do you have a copy of your child's birth certificate? It should say on there.

i have no idea.

the papers i have are in spanish.

where would it be on the bc if i have it?
any idea what words would come before it?

we're working on learning basic spanish words, but my kids are doing better than i am.
and as for reading the words, well it's pretty hard....

There should be a line for "Lugar de Nacimiento" (place of birth) - what does that say?

Sounds like our house! My son is getting pretty good between lessons and kids music tapes, but I am hopeless! I can say oh so usefull things like "The bears drink chocolate milk" and "The bear went over the mountain." Going to get me real far, huh?!

Both my kids BCs show the name of the hospital and an address.

all on one line, does that mean Guatemala City?
so i'll be in that long wait situation?

also is it a different amount of time waiting for the bc if it's an abandonment instead of relinquishment?

Yes, that is Guatemala City. On the plus side, someone on the Pink List got theirs in under a week last week from Guatemala City. 2-3 weeks seems more the standard though. But you can hope!
