We entered PGN on Jan 5 without our preapproval. Our preapproval was issued Jan 20 so I am hoping our attorney has picked it up and submitted it to PGN with our file. Here is my question: Is it possible that PGN has already reviewed my file, everything was ok, and they were just waiting for the preapproval and we could be out soon? I know that sounds pretty optimistic, but is it possible? Thanks!

Well, that would be quite the miracle. I do believe in miracles and I have read of women getting in and out that fast. The majority don't, so don't get your hopes too high. Of course, this is coming from someone being in PGN since 9/22 and still not out. Like I said, it CAN happen, but most of the time doesn't. Keep us posted. We would love to be excited for you!

Hi there!

Our attorney is submitting our case to PGN this Friday (1/28) without preapproval. We should receive approval the first week of February.

I did ask this same question on the forum and got the response that "some" reviewers will look at your case and ask for corrections and some will not. BUT---your case did not get kicked out since the 5th when you entered without pre-approval. To me - either no one has been assigned to it because of no Visa - Preapproval OR they reviewed your file and all looks ok and they are just waiting for VISA pre-approval. That's what logic tells me.

You should hear within the next week or two..SO HANG TIGHT! I know easier said than done

Thanks for the responses. I know it would be a miracle to get out soon, but one can only hope right? I was thinking the same thing about our case either not being reviewed yet or already reviewed and just waiting on our preapproval. We have not been kicked out that I know of so I am praying that it has already been reviewed. I have been looking at everyone's timeline and it seems like most people are in PGN for about 2 weeks (give or take a week or two) before they are either out or kicked out. Of course, I know every reviewer is different, but I am hoping we ALL get out soon!

I agree. In my review of timelines it seems like 2 weeks and then its kicked out or approved. That's also why I said to you that you probably have a week or two before you will hear something. AND I also agree on focusing on the positive result - you have to have hope!! I DO.

We may be the exception to the rule, but we were entered into PGN without preapproval. Our file was reviewed and we had no KO's. Once pre-approval was received our file was signed off the next day.

Again, this may not be the norm but it is possible. Hope it happens for you !

You know - for every bad situation - there may be a good situation!!...I think sometimes the good situations don't always get posted.

I don't want to be a downer because no two cases are alike but I was put into PGN June 15 without preapproval. I too thought that possibly my case was being looked at and as soon as I got pre appoval I would be out, that was not the case. I got pre approval July 22, then got kicked out August 20 and I found out I had been kicked out the week before also. It was a total downer, but then after the August 20th kick out, I was signed off a week later. So in my case it didn't work out that way, but I also think because of the things I got kicked out for I had a difficult reviewer. I hope in your case it goes the way you want, as you see in the other posts that sometimes it does.

My advice to you please don't get your hopes up you don't want to be disappointed and if it goes your way then wow what a happy surprise.
