Travel help!
We will be going Saturday to pick up our son, we are beyond excited!!
I just wanted to know with all of the money you take and the video camera, digital camera, portable dvd player for our son, and other things, how safe are these things in the room? We are staying at the La Casa Grande across from the embassy in Zone 10. Did any of you get insurance and if so where from and how much was it? Thanks!! Tina |

My suggestion is that you do not leave anything valuable in the hotel room. My husband and I travel ALOT and this is just a rule that we follow all the time. I don't know about your particular hotel but if you didn't want to cart this stuff around all the time you might see if there is a hotel safe where you could put your stuff while you are out. Also it is important that you keep any and all documents pertaining to your adoption on you at all times.

Thanks Ami,
I think we will try to leave some stuff here and do mostly pictues and video when we get back. I don't know if the hotel has a safe. Tina |

I stayed at La Casa Grande in September, and didn't worry. Of course, I ws rarely far from my room. better safe than sorry. Maybe someone knows whether or not they have a safe.
Have a fantastic trip. -Kathleen |

We stayed at the Marriott, we locked our camera, passports, etc in our largest suitcase when in our room. Never had a problem (altho I'm sure something could have happened).
