POLL- what was Birthmoms age at babys birth (m)
and how many other children does she have at time of referral? I have heard that the **'s are usually a little older- late 20's ..... Just interested in learning more about this.....

Our birthmom was 36 and has 3 older girls.
Our 1st referral's birthmom was 26 and had one other child.

my first son's birthmom was 22 at referral and had 3 other children.
My new baby's birthmom is 28 and we don't know yet about siblings.

 December 31, 2002 Prince Luke was born.   February 5, 2005 Princess Anna home from Guatemala   November 20, 2008 started the process to adopt from EthiopiaFebruary 20, 2009 Sent dossier paperwork to Building Arizona Families for proofing  March 6, 2009 fingerprinted by USCIS.  March 10, 2009 APPROVAL by USCIS. March 13, 2009 Received I171H form. March 18, 2009 Final state authentications received and sent to agency. YEAH!! Bye bye dossier. Have fun at the Washington, DC Consulate.  April 8, 2009 Dossier is on its way to Ethiopia  April 13, 2009 Dossier arrived in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The birth mother was 22 years old at the time of birth and had 2 other children she placed for adoption one 5 years ago the other 1.5 years ago.

Our son's was 19 at time of referral, and she is parenting her 1st born, who is 3 years older than our son.
Our daughter's was 38 at time of referral. She is parenting her first 8 that were born. Child #9 was "placed, informally" with a couple living in Antigua, and our daughter was Child #10.

Our birth mother was 18 at the time of our daughter's birth, and she had a 1 1/2 year old son at home. She's 20 years old now and has had 1 more child since our daughter and is pregnant again and due in January.

Birth Mother's Age
Natalie's birth mother was 17 at the time she gave birth to our little angel. She has had no other children.

Fernando, Jamie and Natalie Born 4/19/04 Home forever 9/29/04 Catalina Born 3/28/07 I171H received, Entered FC, DNA taken and sent to Guat. 2007 Orphanage raid 8/12/07 Daughter removed from orphanage! 8/23/07 PA Issued 9/08/07 Back at the orphanage 12/12/07 1st Visit trip 1/3/08 - 1/7/08 Social Worker Investigated 3/28/08 Catalina turns 1 April 2008 We must hire investigator to find birthmom and hire an attorney to work our case. May 2008 Orphanage told judge that we didn’t want to continue, flew to Guatemala to make sure that all involved knows she is a part of our family. July 2008 daughter moved into another orphanage. 2nd Visit August 2008 The new orphanage is wonderful! 3rd Visit November 2008 She didn't want to leave my side. Why can't the judge issue the sentence so we can bring her home! Sentence finally issued March 13, Who says Friday the 13th is unlucky? 4th Trip March 25 - 29 March 28, 2009 Catalina turns 2 today
