PGN Question

I was just wondering, does that Merida guy only sign off on approvals or does he also have his hands in on KO's as well? I was just wondering because it seems like approvals seem to come in bunches (judging by the posts) but there are always random KO's regardless if it is a time in approvals seem to be coming through or not. Just trying to understand a little better...

Thanks!
Carrie

Merida signs off on K/O's and on approvals. He doesn't spend too much time on the K/O's, which is why they come sporadically, probably whenever he has a few minutes to sign them off, but the approvals seem to pile up and then he goes through them in groups. He reviews the approvals, but not usually many of the K/O's.

Any ideas?

I know that it is not a done deal until Mr. Merida signs off on the case approving it or not, but how often does he disagree with the reviewer? I have reason to believe that our case has been approved by our reviewer and is on Mr. Merida's desk waiting for a singoff for at least a week now. How long should you anticapate a wait for him to sign off?

Thanks,
Jess

Jess:

I know our case was in the extreme, but we were kicked out 9 times. The first 4 were the reviewer's kick-outs, but the last 5 were all approved by the reviewer, and Merida had the reviewer change the approval to another kick-out. I do think it happens more often than people think.

When we were finally approved, we had been on Merida's desk for 8 weeks awaiting his signature. This, again, is probably the extreme. I think usually its 1-2 weeks on his desk before he signs, but it doesn't look like there's been a lot of action on his part lately.

Good luck!
