Hi! May I please be added to your list? Just got out of PGN yesterday, Nov. 3. And our baby was born in GC.

PINK!

We are pink and outta here tomorrow! Luckily, our flight gets in early enough tomorrow that we will get our baby girl tomorrow afternoon!!

Hope to see fellow forum members at the Marriott this weekend! I'll still be praying for all in process. (I've experienced the process slow and I've now experienced the process fast. I like the fast much better!)

Angry PGN

This is my first time entering a message. I have been in the PGN since August 9th and I have become very frustrated. I wanted to get some responses from people that have experienced PGN. I did have a previo and the document is being sent back to the PGN tomorrow. I hear people wait weeks to hear anything. How long does it take to get your file signed!!!? My son was born May 11, 2004 and we were matched with him May 13th. Can't believe he is not home yet.

Please give me some feed back please.

Waiting patiently (trying) Christine

hi clazarc!

There must have been some Guat-side previos on your dossier before (I hope!) ... I am the current listkeeper for PGN waiters on the board. In October the averages ran 70 days from first in to OUT, and about 32 days from last known kickout to OUT.

Hope these numbers help, look over the list I posted this morning, too, and if you would like to be added to the list, let me know -- it helps pass the time, and it helps provide numbers that are ... at times reassuring, at times, depressing to us all!

Good luck,
Linda

Clazarc,

I was going to PM you, but you don't have that option set up. I have been in PGN forever too. Since 8-16 and our daughter was born 4-26. It is really hard to wait. I think foxl was prob referring to the fact that you may have been kicked out for something that to be fixed in Guatemala and you never even heard about it. Sometimes that happens.

Hang in there.

Where are you from?

Jenn

YEP

I got previo'd (ko is the shorthand, for kicked out!) three times, and only told after the fact -- and since I could not fix anything, it was fine with me to only hear after being resubmitted!

You will appear on tomorrow's posting of the list ... and hopefully some more folks will DISAPPEAR between now and then -- it is getting to be the time of day that people get calls from their agencies, isn't it?

Linda

Oh the thinks that you can think if only you think . . . well, you can think, think up pink, and once you have it in your hand, you wouldn't trade it for a mink!

OK- Dr. Suess, hire me.

We have pink too!!!! It's official. We are keeping our travel itinerary. We will be arriving in Guatemala on Sunday early afternoon, taking custody of Liana on Monday. We will head back home a family of four on Wednesday. We are staying at the Marriott.

NWhite, our mutual friend Caroline told me to look for you. Are you staying at the Marriott too? How long do you plan on being there?

I am from New York. I can't wait to go and get our son. This is our first adoption and it has been an emotional rollercoaster.

clazarc,

We were in PGN for 12 weeks with 2 K/O's about 3 weeks apart and then a 5 week wait until OUT. It is a very frustrating process. Our son is 10 months old and we still haven't met him yet! At first we thought that would make the wait easier but now we're not so sure

Swan105,

I am so glad I decided to sign up with forum. It has made my day easier. It feels good to speak to people that are going through the same thing. I am so happy for you. Hopefully soon you will be traveling to get you child.

Good luck.

clazarc,

Yes, this forum is a wonderful support system. People are very helpful answering any kind of questions, so ask away

If you'd like to have the PM(private message) capability, you could set that in your edit options.
