fam court-How's it looking right now
I'm trying to guestimate how family court is moving along right now. With so many people moving thru PGN in the recent week--I'm wondering if fc is processing people and it's "business as usual", too-in spite of this UNICEF stuff. Anyone care to share your fc time? Just trying to get an idea of what we're up against.

Mommy to C&C  Still praying...for 1 more 10/17/07-Found you 10/22-It's official 11/12-rec COA 12/21-entire dossier rec'd by atty 12/22-subm for PA 1/23/08-agency says case in "grave jeopardy" 2/12-rec PA 2/15-FLOP-WHY  8/6-begged agency for atty to establish case w/CNA 8/13-agency says 'not likely' b/c we didn't VISIT ...new atty=new hope 10/13-new atty talks to CNA->We qualify for regularization  10/21-Confirmed COA from agency is not a COA. Never even filed 11/5-prior atty wants to "check" on us.Tells new atty he was never pd by agency! Agrees to give our file IF we release him of all liab  1/6/09-rec the real COA! Petition to be filed with CNA tomorrow!  2/10-'old' atty won't release our file...w/out PAYING a fee! So much for release of liability  2/16-Agree to pay file ransom 4/29-File FINALLY given to new atty 5/19-CNA officially approves us to begin adoption; accepts dossier NOW MORE HOOPS

we do not even know our dates,
exactly ... but here's our timeline!
5/17 Accepted referral of boy, b. 1/28/03 6/17 I-600A & fingerprints 7/13 Dossier to Guatemala 07/30 I161H received 08/09 Family Court/Birthmother interview 08/20 Out of FC 09/01 DNA auth; 09/07 DNA samples; 09/17 DNA p=99.98% copy from agency. 09/29 Visa pre-Approval email ? IN PGN w/o pre-approval; KO 9/30 Back in PGN with pre-approval 10/21 3 k/o’s Guat side! But, apparently it was less than three weeks.

family court
we've been in since 10/6. the agency told us we should be out of family court this week. i'll believe it when i see it.

We entered FC on Sept. 9 and not sure when we were out, but for sure by the 28th when we entered PGN. So about 2 weeks for us.

We entered FC on Oct 4th and don't even have an interview date yet.
 DNA is already done and we've had pre-approval for a couple weeks. We are just wishing something would move so to get a date and get through FC. Jonni
