Dr. Luis Galvan is the doctor who examined the baby we're trying to adopt when he was 5 weeks old. He wrote that he is perfectly healthy and developmentally right where he should be.

Since that visit, one month ago, it has been determined that this baby suffers significant hearing loss. I am just wondering if anyone knows if this doctor is reputable, or if you've ever heard of him or had any experiences with him?

I would like to have the baby seen by Dr. Monteil, if possible. I have read many wonderful things about him on this forum.

I have also heard good things about Dr. Espinoza. If you know how I would go about getting the baby seen and his hearing checked and a 2nd opinion by one of these doctors or if you can recommend another one, please let me know.

We are trying to get detailed and accurate medical information on this child and at least verify exactly what his loss of hearing is caused by and exactly what he can and cannot hear. We still want to adopt him, but need to know what issues we're dealing with so we can be prepared to get him the help he needs as soon as possible.
