Interesting, I have noticed this a few times on here before. How does old thread like this, pop up out of nowhere?

Foster!......less players in the game thus less confusing to your child who the care giver is. In my opinion, this will, and has made our "transfer" a big difference. Our daughter has had two people only in her life that have taken care of her, the foster mom and now her forever mom..........I'm sure others would have different opinions, but think about this and what make more carnal since to you......a bunch of people or just 2...you decide.

Interesting thread to pop up again; surprised when I saw my response from about 4 years ago. Since than, I have another granddaughter who was in a foster home; she came home over 2 years ago at 4 months. This foster home was not the best; she only weighed 8 lbs. 9 oz. at 4 months. That being said, I think that every case is different. My granddaughters are now 5 (from hogar) and 3 (from foster care). Both are smart, funny, beautiful, and thriving!!! Plus adored by all!! Vicki

pray about it...My husband and I were totally set on foster care. Our agency called and said we have a little boy 3 months old would you consider. We did our research on the orphanage and God answered our prayers. We accepted referral of our son we hope to be home in March. Hang in there. I promise at the end it all works out. God knows what he is doin. Good luck..

Someone doing a search comes across the thread and posts a response. And thus brings it back up to the top page.

I did a double take when I saw all the responses from people who haven't posted here in ages!
