people back from pick up
did the embassy look at the tax returns and all th other stuff we are told to bring down?

Not ours, no. We had visited previously and apparently they seldom look at the docs in this case. However, I would certainly bring them because that would be an awful surprise not to be issued a visa for improper documentation.

I would bring them
Better safe than sorry. We were told to bring them but that they probably would not need them because we both visited before pick up. Well, surprise, they took them. I am glad we had them. It was recommended by our agency to bring them.

they took our complete file back...
Who knows if they looked at it though! But we had it all in order, last 3 income tax returns and W-2's , also had our current employment letter, affidavid of support, $320 in cash, passports, and babys documents....can't remember what else, its been 7 months now!
oh well. |

They took ours. I had visited previously, but dh had not so we knew we'd be asked to provide them.
