I am hoping someone in the group can help me get started looking for our dughters sibling. We found out in our Family Court interview papers that our daughters birthmother had place another child for adoption. I have asked our agency to try and find our more information for us but that hasn't happened.

Does anyone know how I can start to look for this information?

Do you know how to contact the attorney that did your adoption? Often mothers will go back to the same attorney when they have another baby for adoption.

There are two other ways to find one. Post a message on the big list (or even here) asking if anyone adopted a baby by the name of _____ born _____. Don't put last names, that violates the birthmothers privacy. Do initials for the last names (i.e. baby Maria S. T.)

Also, you can join the yahoo group just for this purpose. This site doesn't sell anything so I think I can post the link here???
