Has anyone ever stayed at The Princess...

Its about 5 blocks from the Embassy and I am told its in a nice, safe section of the city with resturants around it. We were going to stay at the Rad. or Marriot but the orphange is close to The Princess and prefers all their families to stay there.

Thanks,

Hi
I think that is the one I could see from the window at the Holiday Inn...so it should be in zone 10 or maybe zone 9 since it was across the avenida reforma..it looked adequate from what I saw..they may have a website..I dont know of anyone who has stayed there..maybe talk with others from your agency...have a fun trip...

If it is the Princess Reforma it is on Ave Reforma, it looked nice and I believe they had an airport shuttle Van. If I remember right it is next to or in the same building as a Chili's restaurant. It looked nice.

Not everyone stays at the Marriott and the Raddisson, we stayed at Suites' Reformas on both our trips, It is across Ave Reforma from the Princess, it was a smaller hotel that had apartment suites with a full kitchen. We enjoyed our stay, Ave Reforma is noisy but easily survived and in one of the rooms we stayed at we didn't hear the traffic at all. They are both a short drive or walking distance to the embassy.

When I picked up my first son in 2000 I stayed at the Princess Reforma. It was very nice. The fifth floor is for families - mostly adoptive. There is a dining area on the floor and breakfast is served. At night, they serve finger food type things. It was very convenient if you didn't want to go out with the baby.

Kim,

We stayed at the Princess Dec '01 and moved to the Marriot after the first night.

If you would like details, please PM me and I will be happy to oblige.

We stayed at the Princess in May 2002

We stayed at the Princess in May of 2002 (when we picked up our son). The (free) breakfast was great. Lots of fresh fruit and juices. The room was clean. The only thing negative was that it is across the street from a DISCO, - which was very loud....(if you are light sleeper, - it will bother you). My son was 7 mos at the time and slept right thru it (as did my husband) . I layed awake...though I think I was so excited (and am a very very light sleeper), I would not have slept even if it was quiet.

Have a great trip!!!
