Hispanic population in Buffalo, NY?

Does anyone on this list know how the hispanic population is in upstate NY? My husband and I are contemplating a move up there (just south of Buffalo) and were wondering how our 20 month old son would fit in. I've read some stats, but I wanted to see if I could get a first hand experience from someone on here as well.
