One year ago today....
....I held my baby girl for the first time. She was only 10 weeks old and I remember it like it was yesterday. Today was such an emotional day....looking at pictures and video from last year, and then looking at this beautiful 14 month old girl she has become right before my eyes. And unlike that visit one year ago, I know I will not have to "give her back" in a few short days; she is mine forever!! So much has happened these past 12 months- delays in our case (compliments of the Hague), a second visit, her homecoming...and she grew hair!!!
Thanks for listening! Here are a few pictures. The first one was of last year at this time when I visited her.

Tammy,
Doesn't it seem like just yesterday? I also visited for the first time in May when Noah was 12 weeks and just said to my husband yesterday, remember last year how excited we where planning our trip and seeing him for the first time. It was love at first sight! Then we returned home and the Hague issues started. We still had hopes throughout the summer but everything just dragged on. Well 3 visits later, we finally brought him home. Yes, I have forgotten the pain of last year, because I am reminded everyday by his smiles how it was worth every minute of it! Jolene |

Hi
I too visited for the first time, on Mother's Day. What a special day that was. Sergio was 8 weeks old and sometime later we have a toddler on our hands. He's walking around like he's King of the joint. (Of which we all know he is!) Yes the Hague and 2 more visits later he is now home and in our arms forever. He and his cousin are napping. They are 3 months apart and like best friends already, it is wonderful. I think it's time to look at the first video again... Patti |

Tammy,
I remember too! She's so gorgeous now! What a great picture, and how nice to see her outside! How's your mom? Although Rosie has spent a little time outside, yesterday was the first time she actually spent hours outside. It's been so cold up here! Even yesterday it never even hit 50 degrees! (It was Billy's First Communion and we were partying) I can't wait to meet Myra this summer! She & Rosie & Noah will have so much fun playing! And my boys will have fun watching them!
