Unhappy Prayers needed! No BC and now Cole is sick.
All,

Greetings from Guatemala!

As of this morning we still did not get our birth certificate from the civil registry. Our lawyer checks several times a day. But even if we get the bc this week, we won't leave this week.

Cole has the chickenpox! Poor guy is full of them. I was crying today looking at all the marks. I am exhausted since he didn't sleep last few nights. The doctor came out twice to see us.

We are hoping to go home maybe sometime next week but it depends on the birth certificate and how Cole is doing.

At least we are with Cole and we can take care of him.

I will try to update everyone from time to time.

Praying that all the waiting families are united soon.

I am so sorry! Chickenpox, how awful! Poor little guy, how do you keep him from scratching?

Dawn,
I will be saying many extra prayers for you tonight. I am so sorry little Cole is sick and you are still having problems with the BC. You have had such a difficult journey and I am constantly amazed by your positive spirit. I will be praying for you to have the strength emotionally and physically to endure this last leg of the race and of course for little Cole to have complete healing soon.
You hang in there. You are a wonderful mommy to this very special little boy.

The poor little guy...he must be miserable. Sorry to hear you've hit another snag...I"m glad you are there to comfort Cole thru this and you will be home very soon...

I'm so sorry you still don't have the bcertificate, and of course so sorry that poor little Cole has chickenpox! I hope the dr. was able to give him something to alleviate the itching.

I will say an extra prayer for you and Cole. It is hard on both of you! Hang in there. He will be heading home soon. Get some Aveeno bath if you can. It really helps with the itching.

I am so sorry to hear that Cole has the chicken pox and is so miserable. I know how tough it can be with a sick child. Hang in there and I hope he is feeling better soon. hang in there Dawn. I can only imagine your frustrations. I have a friend who had BC troubles and still isn't out of PGN. I feel for you all. I'll keep you in my prayers

I am so sorry that Cole is sick and just as sorry that you don't have the new BC yet and can't come home!

I will be praying for you all and for God's peace for you. Not getting enough sleep and trying to take care of a sick little one are very hard together.

Praying he is soon well and you are on the road back home!

Poor baby...It is so awful for a baby to have chicken pox! How lucky he is to have you there to take care of him. Hang in there. He will be better and you will be home with him before you know it.

So sorry...praying for you all!
I am so sorry that you are having such troubles. It seems the chickenpox are going around as there were at least ten children at the elementary school with them recently and that is here in MA! Give your little Cole kisses and thank goodness you are there with him.

Prayers for a quick BC and Cole feeling better!!
