Keep the Faith
I feel exactly like Kelly. We lost our first referral (8 months gone by). The second time, it took 13-months to finally bring our daughter home. It is the hardest thing I've ever experienced. But the joy I experience with her during special moments is the best thing I've ever experienced in my life. It is worth the wait, though. She is everything we could have imagined and we love her so much. We are perfect for each other. I always say a special prayer for the "Old Timers." Your time WILL come when it is right.

Thanks Quinnie...the wait is really difficult. Some days are better than others, but it's always on my mind. I do trust that this will all be a faint, unpleasant memory when our daughter finally comes home. In the meantime, keep those prayers and good thoughts coming!

Thank you, Quinnie. We especially needed to hear that extra support during this week, which is dragging by like a REALLY LONG weekend!

I agree, Gail, this is a really long week and will be a long weekend.
