how long to get pink slip
Well, we found out on Feb. 16th that we are out of PGN. On Feb. 18th we were told that we have the passport/visas? and that we need to have translations done, etc. Does anyone know how long it would take to finish the process before traveling? What are the steps and timeframes involved once you are out of the PGN. I assume we got out before the 16th, otherwise we would not have had our passports in two days. We were told we could start looking at flights around the 29th.
If anyone would respond that would be great. Thank you so much. Going to get our baby soon! Referral 4/2/03 Out of PGN 2/16/04 (probably sooner) |

I'm not sure why you were told you have the visa. But that is what you need to go to the embassy for.
This is how it goes. At least for me. PGN approval Bmom signs get b-certificate Get translations done get passport while translations are being done. atty Submits everything to embassy If no problems, pink slip 2 days later then you travel then you go to embassy to get visa then you come home with your little bundle of love this can take anywhere from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. All depends on the atty. Good luck

We got out on 2/2/04 and our attorney went yesterday to get the pink slip but was told to come back on Monday - we expect to travel on 2/28 and go to the embassy for the visa on 3/1. Our agency told us it would be 2-4 weeks from the time we got out of PGN.

It totally depends on how stupid or hard working your agency is. I've never heard of anyone having longer than 6 weeks for their pink slip, but we may beat that record because our agency is staffed by idiots.

We must have had the same agency, as it took us 8 weeks and almost 9. I think we have the record.
