Question - To visit PGN or not???
We exited PGN last September and brought out little guy back home in November. However, we have close friends that have the same timeline, but are still in PGN - kicked out and back-in several times. When we were waiting to get out, I remember that visiting PGN was more of a no-no, i.e. they would get mad at you, delay your case even more, etc. However, lately I have seen posts that many are doing this any getting results. I recently hear that 17 people visited PGN recently and all got out. Question, for those who have gone to PGN, how was it done? Do you recommend it? Did it make a difference? Did you set it up through your agency, the attorney, or on your own? Do you need an appointment or do you just go? Who went with you to help translate? I assume you need your case number and it is probably wise to have your attorney be present. Can you go down any day? What did you say to PGN? Please, any help or information would be appreciated. Our friends are planning on going down and trying to make something happen. Thanks

Recommend going to PGN!!!
After living in Antigua and getting no help from our facilitator or agency as to why we were still in PGN, I decided after much pressure from my Antigua friends, to take the plunge and go for it. My husband arrived in Guatemala and the next day we went to PGN with our daughter and Colleen Fluery (translator.) We spoke to Chin Chia and he was on the phone with our attorney in 10 minutes telling her to get her butt to PGN and fix some paper work so we could be released. This was a Friday and Monday we were OUT! So yes, go to PGN!
We did not tell our agency or attorney/facilitator, we just went. (Plus, my facilitator told me on the phone "if you want any answers, talk to PGN.") Basically, we told Chin Chia that our attorney and agency was of no help and we were desperate for answers. Chin Chia was the best and made it happen. I do NOT recommend taking your attorney...PGN has issues with attorneys. No, we did not make an appointment. Just go to the window and ask to talk to someone about your case. We did not have any of our paperwork or case number with us, but it wouldn't hurt to take it. If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.

Thanks so much for responding, as your information was a great help. We continue to pray that our friend's will be able to bring their little girl home very soon. She is almost 2 yrs old and her birthday is coming fast. Thanks and God Bless.
