Visits/orphanages?
I wonder if the kids in foster care now, IF they were moved to an orphanage (worst-case scenario right now), would we be able to visit them in Guatemala?
Just wondering. My bubble has been burst since yesterday's presumed good news. ![]() Dian, Mom of 4 & waiting for Kate (b 2/20, post 3/5). |

Semantics
Our son was in a hogar and we were offered the opportunity to visit him (we didn't for time-restriction reasons). I have heard the words "hogar" and "orphanage" used interchangably (although I thought there were differences)---so, logically (ha)--if a child is in an orphanage, visits should still be possible.
???? Just my theory...
