Hello, I am new here and will HOPE I can find my way back after I post this! I swear I can't master bulletin boards!
My name is Lisa and I have a son (Elliott) who is adopted and his birthmother is from Mexico but he was born here in the US-- she just traveled to give him a new life here).
I have been researching adoption for a few months again as I want to add one more child to our small family (I am a single mother now).
I THINK I have decided on Holt and Guatemala (still wavering on India) and am considering special needs -- hopefully that will be minor need or just waiting or a tad older (but must be younger than my son who is now 3 years old).
Wonder if anyone here has worked with Holt and if anyone has info on traveling? What is it like? Is it safe? Did you get sick at all?

Holt has a good reputation for adoptions, however, I don't have experience with that agency. How exciting that you are on your way with your journey to adoption (for the second time). Let us know what country you decide... Guatamala or India.
