Anyone Know How Long?

After waiting 6 months for a baby girl referral, we received and accepted our baby in January. Last week, after all this time, the birthmother changed her mind and took her back. We were really hurt by this but believe that God had a different plan for us. Our agency gave us another referral yesterday - she's a beautiful baby girl born Feb.22 and we are thrilled - but does anyone know how long it will take us to get her home now?
With the first baby we were told 4 to 7 months and now all they can say is that with Hague no one knows........does anyone know?
And can anyone tell me what exactly will be different with Hague -my agency doesn't even know that.

Hi! As far as I know, your agency is correct. PGN has not yet decided what the new requirements will be as they try to implement the Hague. You may already know this, but the Hague is also being challenged in the Constitutional Court. If they rule that it is unconstitutional it may even be repealed. I know...it is maddening, isn't it? Hopefully by the time you are out of FC PGN will have clarified what the new requirements will be.
Best of luck. Judy

We had to start all over again. New Power of Attorney and then we'll go for the DNA and FC. The only thing we didn't have to do were new documents ~ that is if we can get her out of their before they expire. Just heard that fingerprints are only good 15 months now.
