Trying to register as BF with Gladney home

A gf and I decided to give up our child while she was pregnant because we were already in process of breaking up. I finally sent in my registration paperwork but the home cannot cross-reference my name (birth father) and match me up with child or birthmother's records because I cannot for the life of me remember girlfriend's last name. I am quite suprised that the agency cannot cross-reference both father's and mother's names.

The hospital did say that a courtorder would allow me to request info from them so that I can identify birthmother's name but I have not called a lawyer yet to find out the expense. Is it possible for me to ask a judge myself for a court order that I can present to hospital to avoid additional lawyer's fees?

I havent accomplished anything at this time, but I thought I would put child's birthdate on here, 08-06-81 at the Methodist Hospital in San Antonio.

After several phone calls to county clerks, family services, the home found my file. So now its up to birthchild to decide if she wants to identify birthparents.
