Birthdaughter Found
I can not tell you how excited I am to have now had contact with my birthdaughter placed at Gladney in 1981. For anyone still looking I have some words of encouragement. REGISTER with Gladney and keep your information CURRENT! I registered first but my BD was not ready. I then married, changing my name and moved but did not keep info current. My BD registered 6 years later but Gladney could not find me. I then contacted Gladney and the wheels have been spinning ever since. They have gone above and beyond to help me and have been SOOOOOOO supportive. Keep the faith folks!

call galdney at 800-gladney and ask for post adoption department. tell them you would like to register, if child you are looking for is over 18. They will mail you the papers and consent forms (tons of those) and thats it. Good luck and please keep me posted.
