My name is jennifer. when my mom was 15 she got pregnant and my granny being stubborn and hard-headed made her give up her first born daughter because she was too afraid of what people might say about her and now 22 years later i am tired of seing her so upset she is afraid to try and find her becasue she thinks she will hate her becuase she had to give her up my mom is a great person and she deserves to see her daughter even if it is only once

I don't know if this will help but tell her if she wants to find her at all then she needs to take some action. She can look at it like this, it can go one of two ways, she can either gain a family member and spend a joyous amount of time with her or it can be just like it is right now but with closure. She has nothing to loose and a lot to gain. So far it looks to me like my birthmother is not searching for me and THAT is what is really hurting me, cause I know that she can't forget me. But I am NOT at ALL mad at her I understand the possible reasons behind why she did what she did. I just want to know her now. Thanks for listening and I hope that the search goes well, Good luck!!!
