Advice Needed for Initial Contact

I have been searching for my half-sister for about 3 years now and have FINALLY found her. I have an address, her full name, her birthday, everything. She registered with the adoption agency back in '98, but has not contacted them with an updated address. So she does not know that my sister and I have since registered within the past year. I called the agency to see if they would send another letter to her at the current address I have, but they won't. The agency's reasoning was that she might
not have left a forwarding address on purpose. What should I do at this point. If I write a letter myself, what should I say? What if she really decided that she didn't want contact? Any advice with this situation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Candace

born 8/27/78 Edna Gladney, Duncan Memorial Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas

I am registered with Gladney, too. When I call they say they would have contacted me if she had registered. I think she could have at least checked the file, but she wouldn't take the time.
I think their registry is a hoax. The reason they gave you is stupid. I think it is all about the $350.00 they want to do the search, where they could lie again about finding her.
It is very sad. Anyway, I am still searching for my birthmother
My birthmother was 16, Baptist, and the birthfather was 17.
She had a sister a year younger with a kidney disorder of some kind.

When and where was your sister born? I'm registered with Gladney as well.
