How do I make my letter unique?
I'm so glad that I found this forum. I have just written my first draft (of many, I'm sure) of our DBML and as I was reading other threads, I realized that I probably just wrote the typical letter. I haven't had the opportunity to read other letters or your book, Nelson. I'm from Canada. Is there somewhere here that I can buy it? Any tips on writing a great letter that anyone can give me would be great. We've already adopted privately once but waited a long time for our son. Maybe it was our letter
Thanks!

be authentic
worry more about making your letter authentic and true than about standing out from the crowd. Be specific in your stories and reference, paint pictures about your life that readers can clearly imagine, use rich details. But mostly, be true to yourself. You are as unique as they come.
