We recieved the news last night. We are going to be the parents of twins!!!! One boy and one girl . I asked a friend what is next. The friend said that we have to get together with our social worker and her to go over the file. I am so hoping to get the ball rolling. I just wanted to share the good news!!!!!!

What a blessing -- a boy AND a girl!! You can't ask for better than that. Congratulations!!

I have a couple of friends with twins: all bio kids -- one set from fertility drugs (boy & girl), and one set as a complete shocker (two girls). The girls were born on April Fool's Day, which the mother said was appropriate because it was Mother Nature's biggest joke on her!!

Both advise new moms of twins to get involved w/a "parents of multiples" group for support. Issues arise that you just don't think about when you have them one at a time. Both women feel so blessed to have twins. The first three months are rough, but then the twins have built-in playmates and things get a lot easier.

Hi Faith thanks for the advice . If you could suggest any group that would be wonderful. I have so many questions for their worker,and about them. I am going to write them donw so maybe I won't froget any. Thanks again.

I would like to thank you all so much for all the wonderful support. We have picked the names Emily Elizabeth, and Nathaniel Thomas.Thank you so much for the support groups. Our family is SO loooking froward to having new siblings. OUr son said finally a brother!!! He is so happy but still out numbered. We will have three girl and two boy. Oh well he will just have to wait for awhile , we have to finish this adoption first. I would like to find one more little boy so all will be even. Thank you all again talk later .
