Smile Older Child Adoption...E-Pal Needed

Hi,
My husband and I are adopting a 9yr old and a 7yr old. We also have 4 bio children.
Sometimes the waiting, paperwork and people I have to deal with, drive me crazy !
I would love to have someone to share these things with. Is anyone going through the same type of thing? Has anyone had a successful older child adoption with out extreme problems? Lately I have heard only negative things.
I'd love to chat !!

I understand all to well =)

Hello! I too am in the process of adopting a 11 year old. We are doing a interstate adoption and the paperwork is all to much!! I too feel as if I will go crazy before this ends and would love to have someone to chat with. I haven't even met my boy yet and that is REALLY driving me nuts!! If you wanna chat let me know....

I Too Know the Feeling...

I too am the prospective parent of an older adoptive child. The process for me has been grueling but it has been well worth it. I am trying to remember that this process including homestudy, MAPP classes, et cetera is just going to make me a better parent.

I would love to have an e-pal who is going through the same issues.

Lisa

Smile

Hi my husband and I adopted twin boys aged 4. We have had them now for 18 months and its great. We have had some problems, but they were more to do with becoming a mumfor the first time. Adopting is well worth the wait. Our boys are fantastic. Hope you enjoy yours as much as we are enjoying ours.
