First things first,for whatever type of adoption you decide you must have a homestudy done thru a licensed agency in your state. You must also star gatering documents such as letters of references,proof of employment,birth certificates,marrarige certificates,financial statements,copy of latest tax return,and statement of health from your physican. A criminal background check and possibly depending on the agency or state requirements a psychological evualuation may need to be done. Sounds like a lot of work---YOU BET IT IS!!!!!!Is it worth it?YES!!!!!!!!!!!I was lucky enough to adopt 4 babies, so I know the process well. Good luck.
