welcome to the forums!

I haven't gone through CAS, so I can speak to the length of the profile.

There's a zillion threads on dealing with the jitters. My best advise, vent/fret away here. There are a lot of people in the same boat.

As for passing the time,i suggest 3 things:
1) read up on anything you may be faced with.. Birth defects, emotional problems, general parenting. Once the kiddo is there, you won't have much time for studying
2) do whatever you like doing as a couple. once the kid is there, you'll have little time for this. You really need a strong relationship to roll thorugh all the changes. Caring for it now is a wise investment
3) optional.. for me, nesting was a great way to pass te time. I painted the bedroom, shopped for "kid things" (most of which we never used). This it was fun and a nice distraction to waiting for "the word"

good luck

So you have 15 pages - 2 pages is pictures, and the rest (13 pages) is text? We did a domestic infant adoption, but our profile was almost the reverse of that. We had about 12-14 pages, and a little less than 2 pages was text and the rest was pictures. What I always heard and read was more pictures and less text was the best way to do it.

wc66- that is terrific advice I already started buying, haha... and we are looking at different challenges we might face asking questions to friends who adopted and site searching. The jitters are still there I dont think they will ever fully go away, I am excited and afraid all at the same time. i find myself looking at this sight for hours and appreciate what some ppl have to say thank you for the wonderful advice!
