We are looking to adopt, we are in NC. A co-worker adopted her two sons through social services, in her county. I called up social services today in my county, but they told me they only do foster care and usually for short periods of time. They gave me the names to a few agencies (about 3 that are local) I have looked them up online, but haven't contacted any yet.

Wondering if anyone has had any good experiences with any agencies in NC. If you could PM that would be wonderful. I am so confused as to where to start and there is so much information out there, it's almost overwhelming.

I am just starting finding out information on adoption with in the past week or so. If anyone also has any resources for books, websites, etc. they would like to share I would really appreciate that as well, just anything that would help inform me about adoption more. I have been doing internet searches and finding some great information and sites (such as this one) thankfully!
