Smile Here if anyone has questions I may be able to help with

We are currently in the process of adopting our second Princess, currently due in 57 days. When we first started this whole process over four years ago, I didn't really have anyone to ask basic questions to.

So, if any of you guys or gals have any questions I would be more than happy to try and help you the best I can.

Adoption has its ups and downs and sometimes you think you may not get back on the bike after you've fallen off, but your child is out there, you just have to figure out which route you're going to take to get to them!

Good luck to all of you!

I don't have any questions. I am adopting through the foster system, but wanted to say thank you for being willing to help others.

Blessings.

My pleasure! I am in the process of getting my BSW then go on to Grad school. I want to be able to do HS and adoption counseling one day! So, I do as much research as I can and get on these boards a lot to learn and try to help others!!!

looking into adoption

Hi. My husband and I are beginning the process of looking into adoption. I have read a lot online, but some of it is very confusing. We don't even know where to begin. We have been through all sorts of fertility treatment and don't want to go through the nightmare anymore. From some of the things that I have been reading, it sounds like adoption can be pretty grulling too. I guess my biggest question is where do we start?

I too am just starting the process of learning about adoption with my husband. I am reading a very helpful book called "You Can Adopt". It's simple and to the point. I have found it very informative.

Hi,
My husband and I are starting the adoption process in Pennsylvania. I do not know much about the process yet, but I do know that I would like an infant (under 6 months). Any tips or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Meghan
