We are currently waiting for a domestic match and my dh lost his job today. I know we must report this to our agency but he made some calls today and may possibly have a new job in the next week or two. Financially we are set for a while but we will need 2 incomes to continue our current lifestyle. I'm not worried about us, I know we will get through this and be fine but I am so worried that the agency will see this as financial instability since he started this job last year. Has this happened to anyone? I feel so sick in the pit of my stomach. I suppose I SHOULD be worried about us but my only concern right now is our adoption plans. Any thoughts or advice are appreciated.

IMHO I think I'd ride the situation out and see what happens in the next couple weeks. It would be a lot better to call and say "my DH changed employers" than "he's unemployed". Good luck!
