We've Been Matched!
I'm still new to the board, but I just wanted to tell the world that we've been matched! Timing has been on our side! I got the agency packet the first week of May, had the home study done on May 27th and received the call yesterday! The expectant mom is due July 25th!
Yea! So happy! After trying for 5 years to get pregnant, we're so happy.
Thanks for reading my thread, I just can't stop smiling and want to share the news with anyone and everyone!

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!

Now my suggestion is to sleep in as much as possible eat out as much as possible and do whatever craft you like to do because I have done none of those things very often since dd was born

And hang out here because you will find answers to questions you didn't even know you had.

I'm so happy for you!! I'm just beginning myself and hoping that I'm picking the right agency.. I'm about to fill out the paperwork and have a homesteady ASAP. That's great it happened so fast for you!!

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate all of your kind words and well wishes. It's been a busy few days and just haven't had the chance to let all of you know that I really enjoy reading all of the posts.
Since I am still relatively new to adoption-related information I don't know what the normal time lines are for everything. I know we were very fortunate to find our agency and get everything done so quickly. If anyone wants to PM me I will be more than happy to give you the information about the agency we're going through. I don't know if they are under the same name in other states, but I do know they have agencies in other states.
