Agency, attorney, fost-adopt? Help please
Hi, I'm new to this site but am looking for as much information as possible. I am 24, husband 28, we have been married 4 years, and have no children. We are looking at adoption and are confused as there are so many options. An agency in Auburn, Ca accepted our application, but misquoted the cost in the beginning, after we found out it would cost us $25,000 we decided to wait. We have also been approached by a birth mother who wants to give her baby up, but I can't find how much the attorney cost would be. Does anyone know an approximate number? We are interested in an infant, preferably caucasian, hispanic, or asian. We can comfortably afford to spend $10,000-15,000. We understand for an infant the wait will be longer. Has anyone adopted a healthy infant from a state agency? How long did you wait? Thanks for all the help ![]() Last edited by Tigger27 : 05-30-2006 at 10:13 PM. Reason: Agency name/info listed |

FYI - I'll PM you. We adopted a healthy, CC newborn for services within your price range.
