Can I use an already complete homestudy for an int'l adoption?

My husband and I are considering switching to domestic adoption. We were planning to adopt from Russia, and have a home study that was completed in February for that. It has several mentions of Russia, of course, but it is comprehensive and I'd say it mostly just speaks of our family and desire to adopt a child without mentioning the specific type of adoption.

Does anyone know whether most agencies will accept this as is for a domestic adoption? Or will I have to get an update, or start all over?

Thanks!

You will probably need to get an addendum to address any state specific requirements that aren't covered in the International HS. It may well need to be re-written to domestic standards, but that should be a short process. I doubt it will be accepted as-is. Good luck!
