Where to begin...wanting a boy 2-5 years old
Hi, we're foster parents in Colorado, have one bio daughter who is 6 and adopting a teen girl (international). We're thinking of adopting a boy 2-5 years old. Any suggestions on where to look? It's gunna be a tough one I think. We rarely hear of boys available around that age w/ no major issues. Thanks for any advice!

While we were in China we saw several older boys who had medical conditions as infants, but were still considered "special needs" even thought the problems had been repaired or outgrown. You might talk to an agency about requesting an older boy with a "repaired" sn. (Cleft lip, heart problems, etc....). We adopted a 4 yr old boy, but his sn was mangeable for us. Good luck! The boys are definitely out there!

Vietnam would be a good place to look right now. They have a number of children 2-5 due to adoptions being closed with the US for several years.
Ethopia might be a good place as well  I've been told Haiti is a good option for that age range as well Lots of options just have to search for them! Best of Luck!!

Tell me more about Vietnam......What agencies are working there? How do I find out more about the kids? Are there photo listings/info to be obtained? Thanks!
