Hello, I am new to all of this and have found this site very helpful

Can anybody forsee there being a problem (whether it be agency, country or any other reason) with us already having a child via a surrogate mother? I mean could it be something that would keep us from adopting?

People seem to have very strong opinions about surrogacy and I wonder if it would be frowned upon by those we would have to deal with for adoption. Does anybody have any experience with this? Or advice?

I don't know what you found that made you want to run off...but I hope you'll stick around - I think you'll find that our members are pretty friendly

As for your question - I don't think it would matter...I don't see why it would even be an issue for international adoption - as far as domestic goes, each expectant mother will have her own level of comfort regarding children in the family...so it'd be hard to say.
