Need answers
I am very interested in fostering a child. I need help to get started with the process. I love children and wants this so badly. If anyone knows how to "get started" please let me know. Thanks melliemel

You need to contact your local/county Children's Services. They will be able to help you get started and the agency through whom a potential foster match will come. Best of luck!

I don't know if you've visited it yet, but there is a fairly active foster and foster/adopt community here on these boards. They are very helpful and there are even state specific foster care groups that might be a good place to start.
I know that for DH and I we contacted our Department of Social Services to get the ball rolling. Good luck!
