Smile Newspaper Ads

Hello -

I was wondering if anyone had placed any ads in newspapers for adoption? I would love to see examples of how the classified ad was written.
My DH and I are thinking about placing a few ads in University newspapers and would like to know how to phrase the ad? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Shannon

Shannon,

We did. Ours said:

Active, fun-loving couple hopes to adopt. We're ready to provide a safe, stable home full of music, laughter and love for a newborn or twins. Please call (name) at (number) or email us at (email).

HTH

Thanks for the reply, Regina!

Did you get any responses? What types of papers did you advertise in?

Anyone else place newspaper ads? Examples of yours?

TIA,

Shannon

We got some response. We advertised in our area general delivery newspaper and in some of the local college papers.

Our friends also advertised and connected through ads for both of their children. I remember the second ad really well because it was cute:

Adopted 3YO ISO to be big brother to newborn or twins. Please call my Mommy and Daddy (names) at XXX or send them a note at (email address).
