Hosting a child before adopting
In my research, I've discovered that there are a number of hosting programs that have children from orphanages come to the US for the summer and spend time with host families before returning to their home countries. It looks like many of the host families end up adopting these children. Has anyone gone this route? I'd be interested to hear about your personal experience and find out what organization you went through.
