I need oppinions on a problem i seem to be having. I am trying to adopt an older child from the foster care system as a single male. Now i know that as a single male trying to adopt I am going to run into some prejuices from from a lot of Child services works out there and I am prepared to deal with that. However I beleive i am having some problems with my homefinder case worker. I received an email back from here answering a couple questions i sent to her, one regarding my home study and the other regarding as to rather or not she had heard anything in response to all the home studies i have sent out. the first question i asked was if she had found anything out about when my home study needs to be updated. she states she has to talk to her supervisor about this becuase of some issues regarding when it was signed off on by the completing agency. Her responce was that she hadnt heard back from her supervisor as of yet, however this question was fist brought up over 2 weeks prior to this email. the second question regarding rather or not she had heard anything from anyone about a child her responce was that she felt she needed to let me know that there are a lot of times that she she just does not have the time to respond to requests for my home study to be sent out to inquiring case workers regarding a child and that she just does not have the time to respond to all the voice mails she may get from case works wanting to have a detailed phone conversation about me and my home study.
Now my question is has anyone else had this problem and if so how they delt with it.
And should I accept this from my case worker or should I be thinking of contacting her suppervisor to discuse with her my feelings about how im being treated?
any responses would be appreiciated. and can be left here or emailed to me at
