Thinking about adopting an older child
Hi. My husband and I have a soon to be 8 year old daughter and we are thinking about adopting a older child (up to 8 years old). We have been considering it for about a year and have just started talking to our daughter about the possibility. We are very concerned about how this will impact her life, although she is nothing but thrilled about the prospect. Any other families in a similiar situation who could share their experiences with us? We would really appreciate some insight. Thanks.
