Independent adoption questions

My husband and I are starting the process of private, domestic adoption. We’re thinking about trying an independent adoption but have a few questions. What did you do as far as networking to meet your child’s birth mom? I’ve heard suggestions to send a letter to churches, schools, and doctor’s offices. Where else should we send letters? Also, how long was your letter? Did you include pictures?

Thanks,
Kelly

read through some of the many informative posts on this board and you'll find many answers and much guidance.

Best of luck!

Hi Kelly, we are in the same place, and I have found it a little difficult to navigate the threads for some guidance. Best Wishes, Eleni
