How to answer an I600A question?
We are trying to fill out the I600A form. On block2, question #14-15, We live in the U.S. and are bringing the child here, will the child come here for adoption or is the adoption completed abroad? We are not sure how to answer this and don't want any delays due to a wrong answer from us.
Thanks to anyone who takes the time to answer! Silverbelle |

Hi, Silverbelle!
I do apologize for not answering before now, I have been off the boards for about 3 months. I realize you probably have gotten your question taken care of by now, but for the benefit of other readers... The answer to your question is best supplied by your agency, since they will have all the information about which country(ies) you are applying to and what their regulations are. When in doubt about filling out the mountain of forms required to qualify to adopt, ALWAYS ask your agency first. They know all the intimate details of your particular adoption situation and are best suited to help you. In some cases, the questions on the forms bring to light facts that you haven't filled them in on yet, and that they need to know to help you be placed with the right child for your family. I hope you are well on your way to finishing your homestudy and getting closer to your dream of parenthood!
